Terms of Service

These terms apply to services provided by Lucy Labs LLC, a Florida limited liability company based in Miami, Florida (“Lucy Labs”, “we”, “us”), and to use of lucylabs.co, including our client portal and online payment pages.

Services

Lucy Labs provides software consulting, custom software development, hosting and maintenance, and AI training and coaching. The scope, deliverables, timeline, and price of each engagement are set out in a written proposal or agreement accepted by the client. Where that agreement conflicts with these terms, the agreement controls.

Invoices and payment

We bill by invoice according to the schedule in your proposal or agreement. Invoices are due by the date shown on the invoice. Clients may pay by bank transfer or online by credit or debit card through our payment processor, Stripe. Card payments are processed by Stripe; Lucy Labs never sees or stores your full card number.

Refunds and cancellations

Because our services are custom professional work, fees for work already performed are generally non-refundable. Either party may end an ongoing engagement with written notice as described in the applicable agreement; you will be invoiced only for work completed and expenses incurred through the end date. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at orlando@lucylabs.co within 30 days and we will review and, where appropriate, refund the charge.

Intellectual property

Unless your agreement says otherwise, once an invoice is paid in full you own the deliverables created specifically for you under that engagement. Lucy Labs keeps ownership of its pre-existing tools, libraries, and know-how, and grants you a license to use any of them that are incorporated into your deliverables.

Confidentiality

We treat client information as confidential and honor any non-disclosure agreement in place. We do not publicly name clients or describe their work in detail without permission.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Lucy Labs’ total liability arising from any engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
